Annual Membership Subscription Renewal
Thank you for your continued support. we rely on subscription and donations to keep the Museum open. instructions for payments are given below.
Annual Subscription
Your annual subscriptions and any additional donations go towards maintaining the museum premises and displays, care for our collection, and generally sustaining the existence of a museum in our town.
Single Employed adult: £15.00
Single Concessionary (retired, student): £11.50
Double Concessionary (two people): £13.00
Household: £20
Overseas with email communication only £15.00
Overseas with postal communication: £35
Life Membership £150
Annual subscriptions are now due for 2024, and additional donations are always welcome! We are a registered charity.

Five ways to pay your subscription renewal
Choose one of these methods, and then let us know you have renewed by completing the blue form below.
Method 1 - Online (recommended)
There is now an option on our Online Shop which will allow you to pay using a card. Just look for “1yr membership subscription” and select the right option for you. You can also add donations. Please then either use the blue form below (or send us an email) to let us know who you are.
Method 2 - Online (Paypal)
Pay annual subscription and any donations using the Paypal payment button below, using a bank card or Paypal account (please just add a little donation to cover the Paypal charge)
This is technically a “donate” function button – but please go ahead and pay the total amount (subscription+any donation) and we’ll sort it out! Use the blue form to tell us what you’ve done.
Method 3 (bank transfer)
New and existing members may pay their annual subscription and any donations by bank transfer direct to our bank account: Sort code 60-19-25 – Natwest, Account number 30835879 Then please let us know you have paid using the blue form below.
Method 4 (By post)
Simply write a cheque, then send it to the Museum with your name and address. Use the Renewal form 2023 or the blue one below to let us know who you are.
Method 5 (Over the phone)
Yes, we can now take your card payments over the phone. Call the number given for our Secretary and leave a message if necessary – we’ll get back to you.
In normal circumstances you may of course bring the cash to the museum or to a Museum event, and pay in person. However please do fill in the membership form that can be downloaded and hand it in with your payment. Click here for a copy of the Membership renewal form 2023

Gift Aid declaration
Boost your donation by 25p of Gift Aid for every £1 that you donate:

I confirm that I am a UK Taxpayer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year, it is my responsibility to pay any difference.
I understand that other taxes such as VAT and Council Tax do not qualify.
