A local heritage prize for schools in 2022....
Schools – Anthony Buckingham Prize The Anthony Buckingham Memorial Prize for 2022 was open to primary schools in Sittingbourne and surrounding area with two cash prizes £400 and £200 awarded to the best local history projects produced. The prize was won by St Peter’s RC School with Bobbing School winning the second prize. Click here for more details.
We have a few boxes of artefacts available for loan to schools. At present the themes are: “Life on the home front during the Second World War” and “Victorian home life”.
